Tanu Bhatt is an award-winning architect and urban planner, widely recognized for his leadership in sustainable and environmentally conscious design. With a career spanning impactful projects across scales and typologies, his work reflects a deep commitment to climate resilience, innovation, and human-centered architecture.
He is the co-founder of PARYAVAS – Environment and Habitat, an organization dedicated to advancing sustainable architecture and responsible construction practices in India. Under his guidance, the studio has developed projects ranging from eco-sensitive residential dwellings and boutique hotels to complex infrastructure plans for roads and railway stations.
A key milestone in his journey is the design of India’s first Green Highway Food and Amenities Complex including a Green Dhaba, a nationally recognized benchmark in sustainable roadside development. His contributions have earned multiple accolades and set new standards in green infrastructure.
Tanu’s impact extends beyond built projects. He has trained hundreds of master masons in low-cost, climate-appropriate construction techniques, enabling widespread, grassroots adoption of sustainable practices. As a visiting educator and mentor, he actively collaborates with universities to inspire and equip the next generation of architects.
With every project, he continues to reimagine the role of architecture in a changing world—merging ecological sensitivity with bold, future-forward design.

Co-Founder and Program Director- Sustainable Planning and Conservation
An alumni of IIT Roorkee in Urban and Rural Planning, She constantly Strive to document the changes in the Built Environment and to find possible ways to bring sustainability. She is one of the driving force behind Conservation efforts of PARYAVAS towards Built Heritage.
ASHISH SINGH
Associate Executive
Ashish has a bachelor Degree in Architecture and holds a Masters in Urban Planning from School of Planning and Architecture(SPA), New Delhi. He held experience over Numerous Affordable housing and Urban planning projects. His experience and pragmatic approach for real issues in built environment make him stand apart from otherwise conventional set of professionals.
